[STATE FAIR] The Rhubarb Tour with Garrison Keillor

[ August 12, 2008; 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. ] Attention English majors and fans of down-home feel-good radio:  Garrison Keillor will bring the Prairie Home Companion Rhubarb Tour to the WV State Fair on Tuesday, August 12 at 8 PM.  

Tickets are $35, but you can sit in the grandstand for a mere $30.

Tuesday Aug. 5 at 7:05 p.m. East End Main Street is hosting the first annual E3 EcoDay at Appalachian Power Park.
The first 1,500 East End attendees will receive a free CFL light bulb to be placed at his or her residence to promote both energy saving and safety.
