[ August 9, 2008; 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. ] The Audition FunShop is deisgned to show participants how to prepare for and what to expect during an audition.  Attending an audition FunShop allows participants to learn and gain experience in an upbeat, low stress environment.  This FunShip is to help you prepare for auditions for the play “Bright Ideas” the next two days.

[ August 15, 2008; ] Like books? Then volunteer for the West Virginia Book Festival!

Volunteers needed to work the information tables, lead children’s crafts, help with the used book sale, and manner of fun, book-y jobs.

The West Virginia Book Festival will be held at the Civic Center on October 11 & 12.
Sign up by August 15th to volunteer.
