First of all, I should start by saying there’s no excuse for missing live Mountain Stage shows. If you live in Charleston, you should feel a cold chill come over you every Sunday afternoon, as you wonder– Is there a show this week? Did I remember to get tickets? No matter what the genre, it’s impossible to go to a Mountain Stage show and not be charmed by at least one emerging artist you haven’t heard of before.

That said, if you do happen to miss a show, you now have the option of the next best thing: past Mountain Stage shows, streaming free via your internet connection. As of this writing, there are more than a dozen past shows available through the NPR website, including King Wilkie, Priscilla Ahn, Jakob Dylan, Brooke Miller, Tyler Ramsey, the Punch Bros., and Morgantown’s own Hillbilly Gypsies.
